How to defrag up to 10X faster
If your like me and sick of waiting hours to defrag your hard drive, there is a handy way to defrag your entire drive is a matter of minutes. All you need to do is download two little programs and thats it.
you'll need to download these two first:
ok once there both downloaded, make sure that contig.exe and power defragmenter GUI.exe are in the same folder (any folder you want), then all you have to do is run power defragmenter, it will give you a few options, here is what they do:
Defragment File(s): Allows you to defragment up to 4 files
Defragment Folder(s): Allows you to defragment up to 4 folders
Defragment Disk: Allows you to defragment a disk
PowerMode(TM) Disk Defragmentation: Defragments at a power equivalent to two consecutive defragmentations.
Pick which everone applies to you and then when you click Defragment, a command prompt should open up and have a lot of text moving at high speeds. The only downside to this is that there is nothing telling you how long it will take and how its doing, But other then that this is a handy and quick way to defrag your pc.
